The Alamo Heights High School Orchestra is located in the city of Alamo Heights, a municipality of San Antonio, Texas. In the orchestra program, we strive to provide opportunities for students to grow personally, musically, and socially. It is our goal for students to reach their fullest potential and perform at their highest level in and outside of orchestra class. Students who have participated in the orchestra programs at Alamo Heights become model citizens who are thoughtful, respectful, and responsible.
Alamo Heights High School currently has four different levels of orchestra that students are placed into by audition, conduct, and work ethic. The following are the names of the orchestras:
Concert: an introductory level orchestra
Sinfonia: an intermediate level orchestra
Philharmonic: advanced non-varsity string orchestra
